In 2019 I began working with Treyarch on Call of Duty Black Ops: Cold War. With this game I was able to own UI features from start to finish, with a lot of polish added. I developed the UI from end-to-end, starting with UX designs and UI art mockups and then implementing the designs in the game engine.
I had the opportunity to continue my work on the Battle Pass, which I initially started on Modern Warfare and Warzone. For each of the 6 seasons in Cold War, I developed themes with a UI art style that matched the ongoing story narrative.
Creating the scorestreak UI was a lot of fun, as I got to break from the established art styles within the style guide and and explore themes that matched the fiction of those Cold War era weapons and vehicles. I designed the UI for the RCXD, Gunship, VTOL Escort, Chopper Gunner and other killstreaks.
